The As Above, So Below mysteries have inspired countless cultures and civilizations through out time. The Great Pyramids of Egypt and South America, the Standing Stones of Celtic lands, the ancient pueblos of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico are some examples of physical structures that were built to capture the magic of the celestial cycles connecting Earth and Sky in sacred relationship. Skywatching was essential to the ancient people who depended on the timings of the seasons and the phases of the Moon to know when to plant, when to call the rains, when to go within, and when to call for the return of the Sun. The natural rhythms and cycles of Earth and Sky continually weave new threads into the tapestry of the Great Mystery. We are the co-weavers of this experience. The Celestial Timings are one small offering of how we might do this more consciously by remembering to tune into the sacred dance of Earth and Sky. These mysteries inspire our awareness of the grand cosmic design and how it continuously unfolds in great beauty and magic.

The Celestial Timings are offer some impressions of celestial events as well as some imagery for consciously participating with these energies. These Timings were conceived by Carolyn Brent and now the task of writing them is being shared by other certified Shamanic Astrologers. Each month we share astronomical and astrological events with the intent to increase awareness of the Celestial Mysteries. Each Timing has an effect for at least three days including the day before and after the exact event. Often the influences of major events will be felt for many months.
